"The Colorado Supreme Court has ruled that the state law governing who may carry concealed weapons applies to the state’s public colleges and universities. The law, the Concealed Carry Act, allows Colorado residents 21 years and older who meet criteria such as firearms training to carry a concealed weapon. In overturning a ban approved by the Colorado University regents, the court ruled that the concealed-carry law was intended 'to divest the Board of Regents of its authority to regulate concealed handgun possession on campus.'"
