"In a sign of further deterioration of bilateral relations, Pakistan has turned down an American request for a visit by Special Envoy Marc Grossman, the top US official dealing with Afghanistan-Pakistan (Af-Pak) affairs. The Pakistani government, currently in the throes of a multiple political crisis involving its relationship with the judiciary and the military establishment alike, has told the Obama administration that it would wait for a full parliamentary committee review of the terms of cooperation with the US before receiving Grossman."
