"Two suspects entered the Bank of America branch at Nolensville Road and Haywood Lane at around 10:30 a.m. with ski masks on and one with a gun, according to Metro Police Department spokesman Don Aaron. But a glass barricade that blocked the teller area from the rest of the bank kept the suspects from getting any money before they felt pressed to flee in a Ford Explorer. Then, one of about six customers got in his vehicle and followed the suspects to a nearby apartment complex where they allegedly switched [to] a Lincoln Town Car." [editor's note: This is especially close, since my sometimes day-gig is just up the street from that intersection, I caught a bus home tonight from just across the road ... and I often cash paychecks at that BofA branch - SAT] (01/12/12)
