"A Guatemalan judge has indefinitely suspended the trial of former President Oscar Humberto Mejia Victores, saying his health must be further evaluated. The 80-year-old Mejia is charged with crimes against humanity for allegedly overseeing a series of massacres of Mayan Indians suspected of supporting leftist guerrillas. He was president from 1983 to 1986." (01/05/12)
