Anything but Kindle

"I suppose it started a year or so ago, on a long but luggage-limited trip, when I packed along a two-pound book to ensure I'd have sufficient reading material for the duration. I groused at the time about the space it took up, so I was intrigued not long after our return when someone brought a Kobo reader to our Linux Users Group meeting. I liked the e-ink screen, and the idea of carrying a few hundred books in such a small package appealed to me. The only thing I knew going in was that I absolutely did not want a Kindle."
