"Stub your toe? Skip pain pills. Employ expletives instead. Cursing can act as a form of pain relief, according to a study by Keele University in England published this month in the American Journal of Pain. A caveat: Persistently profane persons -- those who swear as much as 60 times a day or more -- see less benefit from blue language as opposed to those who curse just a few times a day."
