"[W]hat remains of European regionalism may very well do more to promote the cause of liberty than the more vigorous, better organized libertarian movement in the United States. It is not the government of the United States, but those of France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, and Spain that made real spending cuts. The United States' budget-cutting 'Super-Congress" recently proved itself to be the pathetic joke that Lew Rockwell and others predicted it would be." (12/12/11)
