"A major Syrian oil pipeline was attacked, adding further stress to an economy buckling under sanctions and widespread fuel shortages, as talks continued to let Arab observers into the country to stem the violence that took 13 more lives on Thursday. The sabotage, which both the government and opposition reported on Thursday, happened in Homs, the uprising's epicenter, and was at least the third pipeline attack since the uprising began in March."
