"The foundations of the free market are private property, freedom of association, and the rule of law. The free market is what happens when the law does not intentionally privilege any person or group or persecute any particular person or group. It exists to the degree that the rules of the game aren’t set up to favor or harm anyone, and it doesn’t exist to the degree that it privileges some at the expense of others." (11/15/11)
