"Legal experts contend that any judge applying original intent to the 13th Amendment isn’t likely to believe that the Founders intended it to protect animals. Similar expectations apply to the 16th Amendment; judges who derive their entire net worth from taxpayer loot would certainly deny that the 16th Amendment was intended to protect taxpayers."
