Tunisia: Elections Sunday show big step

"Horns, banners, door-to-door campaigning and thousands of candidates. Tunisia will hold its first free elections Sunday, and the country that sparked the 'Arab Spring' is taking a big, uncertain yet joyous step forward, locals say. 'What has happened in Tunisia since January is enormous,' said Akram Malek, 37, a lawyer in the city of Sousse on the coast. 'The proof is in the fact that we are sitting here talking about elections at all.'" (10/20/11)
