"Traces of chemicals that may disrupt hormonal and immune systems, including several personal care products, have shown up in the drinking water of six of 11 utilities tested across the state, according to a new report. Testing of the lake, river and ground water at scores of utility intakes statewide, including in Nashville and nearby counties, disclosed these same substances and a variety of others." (10/18/11)
