"New Hampshire's secretary of state on Wednesday called Dec. 6 and Dec. 13 'realistic options' for the state's presidential primary unless Nevada backs up its caucus to Jan. 17. Bill Gardner, who by state law has sole authority to set the date of New Hampshire's contest, also says in a memo that his state will not surrender its traditional, first-in-the-nation position."
