"Retirees Cookie and Jess Bowers aren’t musicians ... but the Oklahoma couple feel so strongly that Gibson Guitar is the victim of government abuse that they drove 10 hours on Saturday for a rally in support of the Nashville company. ... It was a sentiment echoed by others in the crowd of about 500 who turned out for Saturday afternoon’s 'We Stand With Gibson' rally, some carrying signs that read 'Who’s Next' and 'When they come for you, who will be left to speak?'" [editor's note: This rally had a much clearer purpose and target; oddly enough, the target (overweening, autocratic big government) was the same one the Occupy folks would aim at ... were they paying attention to reality! - SAT] (10/09/11)
