Afghanistan: Three occupation troops killed

"Department of Defense officials Sunday released the names of three Oklahoma National Guard soldiers killed in Paktia Province Afghanistan on Friday. The men were all assigned to 1st Battalion, 279th Infantry Regiment, 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, based in Tulsa. Sgt. Bret D. Isenhower, 26, of Lamar, Spc. Christopher D. Horton, 26, of Collinsville, and Pfc. Tony J. Potter Jr., 20, of Oklmulgee, died of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked their unit with small arms fire, officials said." (09/12/11)
