"A special court charged with investigating the 2005 assassination of former Lebanese prime minister Rafiq al-Hariri released a long-awaited indictment Wednesday naming four members of the Shiite group Hezbollah as the perpetrators. ... Among the suspects is Mustafa Badreddine, a Hezbollah commander who was imprisoned for his role in bombing attacks against the U.S. and French embassies in Kuwait in the 1980s, and who is a brother-in-law of the late Imad Mugniyah, the Hezbollah figure behind numerous attacks against U.S. interests before his assassination in 2008."
