"Mike Haege, a professional tree-trimmer in Hastings MN, wanted to help his fellow citizens in Northside Minneapolis who were suffering in the aftermath of a recent tornado. So he loaded his gear and went. But after removing downed trees and limbs from driveways and doorways, all for free, the 'authorities' made him stop. He was told to get out of town because he didn’t have a permission slip to cut trees in the City of Lakes. Haege tried to leave but people kept stopping him, pleading for help, and he just couldn’t refuse them." (06/07/11)
