"When Erik Prince, founder of the infamous mercenary company Blackwater, claimed in early 2010 he was leaving the soldier of fortune business, he said he'd decided to pursue a less dangerous and controversial line of work. 'I’m going to teach high school,' he said. ... Erik Prince did leave the US, but he isn't teaching high school and is certainly not out of the mercenary business. ... Over the weekend, The New York Times revealed that Prince was leading an effort to build an army of mercenaries, 800 strong — including scores from Colombia — in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates."
