"The gunman stormed the Mrs. Winner’s chicken restaurant on Lebanon Pike and forced employees to kneel down in a circle while he robbed the business. Shift manager Marie Hammontree found herself face to face with a felon with a gun. ... Police say that the gunman was Antwan Tyson, 26, and that cases like his illustrate just how easy and dangerous it is for felons to get guns in Tennessee. The problem is only getting worse, prompting a state group lobbying on behalf of Tennessee police and prosecutors to push new legislation that would stiffen the penalties for violent and drug felons caught with guns."
