Al Franken worries that some high-tech companies have gone too far in the amount of personal information they collect through mobile devices such as smartphones, so he has called on some top industry executives for answers. Executives from Apple and Google are among witnesses expected to testify Tuesday before the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Privacy, Technology and the Law, which Franken chairs." (05/09/11)
