"Yemen's opposition coalition accepted a deal brokered by Arab diplomats to remove President Ali Abdullah Saleh from power in exchange for immunity for himself and his relatives, clearing the way for the country's first political transition in its modern history. ... The terms of the deal include a 30-day timeline for the president to step down, a time period that starts as soon as the deal is formally accepted by the president and the umbrella group of opposition parties."
