Mexico: Judge acquits last of 35 jailed officials

"A Mexican judge has acquitted the last of nearly three dozen officials arrested in 2009 for supposedly aiding a drug cartel. The freeing of Mayor Armando Medina Torres marks a major setback for the federal effort to clean up alleged corruption in President Felipe Calderon's home state of Michoacan." (04/12/11)
