"Afghans rioted for a second day Saturday to protest the burning of a Quran in the U.S., as nine people died in Kandahar and more than 80 were injured in a wave of violence that underscored rising anti-foreign sentiment after nearly a decade of war. The desecration at the small Florida church has outraged Muslims worldwide, and it further strained ties with the West in Afghanistan. Eleven people were killed Friday, including seven foreign United Nations employees, in a protest in the northern city of Mazar-i-Sharif." (04/03/11)
