"Wisconsin governor Scott Walker has defied a court ruling from a Wisconsin court, allowing the state to move forward with implementing a controversial union bill passed by the Legislature earlier this month. [A] Wisconsin judge issued a temporary restraining order blocking the publication of the controversial anti-collective bargaining law, thereby denying Governor Walker the ability to enforce the law until further review. ... Mr. Walker’s office says it will carry out the law as intended, insisting that the law was passed under provisions outline[d] in the state’s constitution." (03/27/11)
