"The Egyptian regime warned Tuesday that it 'can't put up with' protests in Tahrir Square forever and said protesters would have to abandon the streets and their demand for the immediate resignation of President Hosni Mubarak. Vice President Omar Suleiman said there will be 'no ending of the regime' and no immediate departure for Mubarak, who said he will not run for re-election in the fall." [ editor's note: Sounds like the regime is getting ready to step up the violence level. If this ends in blood, hopefully most of it will be theirs - TLK] (20/08/11)
