"A co-founder of Facebook is shelling out $20 million to help Hillary Clinton and the Democrats in this year's elections. Dustin Moskovitz, who co-founded Facebook with Mark Zuckerberg and went on to found Asana, explained in a post on Medium that his decision to use 'large amounts of money' was 'not easy,' but that 'this cycle is different.' ... He said the Republicans and their nominee, Donald Trump, are running on 'a zero-sum vision, stressing a false contest between their constituency and the rest of the world.' The Democrats, in contrast, are 'running on a vision of optimism, pragmatism, inclusiveness and mutual benefit,' he writes." [hat tip -- Jerry McGovern] [editor's note: Well, he got the half about the Republicans right, anyway; on the Democrats, he's laughably wrong - TLK] (09/09/16)
