"A burglar was shot Tuesday after the occupant of a home spotted him remotely on a mobile surveillance app and called her father to go investigate, police said. ... The resident, Jordan King, wasn't home at the time but received a text message from a mobile phone application alerting her of movement in the house .... King, 25, was able to pull up a live surveillance video feed on her phone and spotted a man in her bedroom with socks on his hands rifling through her belongings. King called 911 and her father, 54-year-old Jerry King, who lives nearby, went to investigate. ... King told investigators Stewart had something in his hand that 'put him in fear,' according to a news release. He fired one shot, hitting Stewart in the upper torso." (08/30/16)
