"A trio of gun rights advocates in Michigan have tried to address the knotty problem of what their kids might go through trying to figure why Mom and Dad go out armed when others don't. The authors of 'My Parents Open Carry' say they couldn't find any pro-gun children's books, and so put theirs together with goal of providing 'a wholesome family book that reflects the views of the majority of the American people, i.e., that self-defense is a basic natural right and that firearms provide the most efficient means for that defense.'"
