"A bomb scare that briefly shut down a terminal security checkpoint at Newark-Liberty Airport early Monday was triggered by a positive test on baggage that contained a computer monitor, officials said. The FBI said a search detected 'small amounts' of radiation coming from the device and was in checked baggage on a flight bound for the same destination as its owner. The investigation is ongoing, the FBI said in a statement released by its Newark, N.J., field office. 'It appears there is no cause for alarm.'" (12/20/10)
