""Carlos Cisneros, owner of Cisneros Jewelers on Dr. Phillips Boulevard, told deputies he exchanged bullets with two suspects during an apparent attempted robbery on Tuesday. The store's owner, 71-year-old Carlos Cisneros, told investigators two young men had entered his store with their faces covered with bandanas. Cisneros told deputies he tried to get his gun so he could protect himself. That's when he said one of the suspects pulled a handgun and fired at him multiple times. Cisneros fired back, deputies said, with bullets shattering a store window and a display case during the exchange of gunfire." (12/15/10)
